Tekken 3 Recompiled For Windows

Tekken 3 Recompiled is a recompilation of PlayStation's Tekken 3 which allows you to play this classic fighting game natively on PC. As is typical of this type of software, it doesn't include any copyrighted material, so it will be necessary for you to provide your own ISO of the game in order to complete the installation.

Select an ISO and get started

Configuring Tekken 3 Recompiled is very simple. Run the executable "Tekken3Recomp.exe" and select where your game ISO is stored. You don't need any BIOS or anything like that. Just select the .CUE file of your copy of Tekken 3 and that's all there is to it. From the Settings menu you can also adjust the graphics and resolution, being able to activate anti-aliasing and other graphical improvements. If you are having trouble, make sure you are using the NTSC USA version of the game.

The classic Tekken 3 you know and love

Aside from the changes to the graphics and resolution, Tekken 3 Recompiled offers the exact same experience as the original title. You have exactly the same fighters and game modes at your disposal. If you want to unlock all the fighters, you will have to finish Arcade Mode several times, just as you had to do in the original game. And, of course, you can play in Versus Mode against a friend (as long as you have two controllers).

My experience with Tekken 3 Recompiled

Tekken 3 is one of the best fighting games in history, and being able to enjoy it natively on PC is an absolute delight. That said, this recompilation isn't all that great. There aren't many additional options, nor is it particularly stable. Even so, it offers a better experience than most emulators.
